Dr. Roger L. Bandeen

Dr. Roger Bandeen is a graduate of Michigan State University. He received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Engineering in Computer Science. 

 

He is a graduate of The University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors. He received  degrees of Doctor of Dental Surgery and Post Doctoral Masters of Science in Orthodontics. 

 

Upon graduation from dental school at The university of Michigan Dr. Roger Bandeen received awards in five areas of dentistry. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor society, having graduated in the top 3% of his class.

 

While in dental school, he was a research assistant at The University of Michigan Dental Research Institute. 


When Dr. Bandeen was an orthodontic resident at U. of M., he was also the dentist at the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids. 

 

Dr. Roger Bandeen has served in both the United States Air Force and Army,  both in active duty and reserves in the United States and Korea.

                             

Dr. Bandeen also holds a patent for an Orthodontic Appliances. Click on the Cadillac News for the article published on May 1, 2008. He has been a technical adviser for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University, Advanced Product Design course. He is also a Michigan State University Alumni Service  Award Recipient. This award is given to only a few alumnus each year.

 

Dr. Bandeen founded the Greater Cadillac Area MSU Club.   MSU alumni and friends of MSU are welcome!

Dr.Bandeen has been practicing Orthodontics since 1983. He is very current in the field of Orthodontics and has published articles in national and international journals, including the prestigious American Journal of Orthodontics.

He gave a presentation on Early Treatment with Damon at the 2009 Damon Forum in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday the 23rd of January 2009. Click here to read about it. Dr. Bandeen has been using Damon technology longer than any other orthodontist in Northwest Michigan. 

Dr. Bandeen has also worked as a mentor to orthodontic residents at The University of Michigan.

Dr. Bandeen is active in the community of Cadillac, Michigan, where he is a proud member of the Friends of Rotary Club and Assistant Coach of Varsity Tennis for the boys and girls teams at Cadillac High School.He is  the president of the Greater Cadillac Area MSU Club.
